Hello. For those of you I have not met before, my name is Bojana Kovacs, I am a senior from Slovenia. I am krisnik, which means that vampire hunting is in my blood, and I therefore have heightened natural senses for danger and can transform myself into a shrew, bat, or wolf. It is imperative that you are all aware, however, that in order to do so, my physical body will go totally limp and requires protection.
I know we have a paper manipulator with us, which has no doubt come in handy in this place. Professors Kashani and Dalca, I think it is good that we are attempting to fortify the entrances, but do you have any plans for obtaining provisions or supplies if our stay is extended? We cannot remain under siege here for long.
I have on my person at the time of writing this: one (1) crossbow with eight-nine (89) remaining bolts, six (6) six- to seven-inch knives, two (2) short swords, four (4) pistols, and one (1) circular handsaw. |

Sometimes I wonder if the school needs a newspaper at all. You all do such a terrific job of reporting your own stuff to the masses. Of course, I say this only as a joke. There is still no better news source than the Sentinel, all competitors are a flash in the pan, gone by tomorrow.
A word of caution to this Phantom Reporter: we are not impressed. |

All I have to say is that it is a very good thing that I am the type of proactive, mature student who takes herself seriously enough to have established her Tournament team well in advance. Anyone ill prepared for the upcoming training and combat period should simply be ashamed of themselves. It is an embarrassment to this institution for any one of us among the senior class to not be at the very top of his or her game at every moment at this point in our Camulus careers.
